What features do you think are most important for a laptop/ notebook?

I’m thinking of buying a laptop(notebook?) because I will be travelling between countries soon. I use computers mostly for fun and a bit work work. I will have a website soon. I also like to play computer games sometimes.

Can you recommend any important features a laptop/notebook must have? All opinions welcome.
